An inspired hospitality group redefining the travel experience through creativity, culture and community.
Welcome to our hood! We’re a hospitality company that wants every guest to go home with a meaningful story to tell. With over 150 thoughtfully-designed apartments, we cover “where you stay.” With our exclusive concierge partner Porter & Sail, we curate the city’s finest encounters to inform “what you do.” With our neighborhood events and traveler get-togethers, we provide a platform for “who you meet.”
Our brand is founded by a group of avid travelers / Airbnb superhosts. We believe in the less-institutionalized and more-independent traveling trends. Choose your stay from our collection of lifestyle apartments - each room is uniquely designed.
We have a proposal: start your life in Tokyo with just a suitcase and keep traveling without overpaying the rent - minus the hustles. We offer Nomads Program for those staying longer than 3 months. If you are out of town for the week (or the month), we'll secure your belongings and rent out your room on Airbnb, giving you money back on your rent.
Artist / Creator
We believe in creating a sustainable and ever-evolving brand for our communities. We have been sponsoring extended stay of freelancers / professionals in exchange of creative assets. Some might call it Artist in Residence Program. In your application you must demonstrate concrete proposal on how you'd utilize your skills / network to grow intheHood's brand.
Discounts available at "bulk orders."
IntheHood lives up to their words, 'thoughtfully-designed with avid travelers in mind.' My time in the city was easily complete with just a small briefcase; thanks to their extensive apartment amenities and remote concierge which connected me to the best neighborhoods of Tokyo.
Staying at their place was such an amazing way to experience Tokyo. I felt like a local with the ease that was afforded to me by intheHood. You can really tell that the people behind the concept cared about about every detail, down to the arts that hung behind the bed. I would recommend this space to anyone - young or old, professional or amateur traveler.
It's new, super clean, very spacious, and has everything we needed for a comfortable life in Tokyo - from fully equipped kitchen, washing machine (with laundry detergent etc.) to a comfortable bath tub (especially helpful after a long day of walking around in Tokyo).
Above and beyond the unit itself, intheHood provided a variety of suggestions on things to check out in the neighborhood, and periodically hosted events that were great ways to meet fellow travelers and learn about the area.
